Daniel Joseph Ordoyne, 84, a resident of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 
2014, at home surrounded by his family. 

He donated his body to LSU and a memorial service will be held at a later date. 

He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Craig) Landry, Charlene (Michael) 
Ordoyne, Monica Benoit, Sharon (Tommy) Savoie, and Samantha (Neal) Davis; 
brother, Leroy Ordoyne; sister, Clara Ordoyne; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-
grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and former wife, Velma Ordoyne. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Albritton Ordoyne; parents, 
Walter and Stella Torres Ordoyne; sister, Lois Summers; two great-
grandchildren, Jessie Gaudet and Matthew Savoie; and son-in-law, Gerald Benoit.
