Sterling Pierre Sr., 48, a native of Terrebonne Parish, died at 12:54 p.m. 
Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma and 
from 1 p.m. until funeral time Saturday at Dularge Community Baptist Church. 
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Crescent Farm Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Linda Ray Pierre; sons, Sterling Pierre Jr. and 
Johnathon Ray; daughters, Kembreanna Ray and Vandalaysha Edwards; sisters, 
Lorraine Fuselier, Ethel Poindexter, Rita (Arthur) Meads, Sherry (Charles) 
Nixon, Patricia (Lionel) Lewis, Marie Williams, and Sarah Dunbar; brothers, 
Sidney (Beverly) Poindexter, Norman Pierre, Harry (Pauline) Pierre, Willie 
(Linda) Williams, and Roger Williams; and seven grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Audrey Scott Pierre; 
grandparents, Peter Pierre, Sidney Scott, and Agnes Smith; sister, Agnes Arvie; 
and brothers, Tommy Lee Williams and Robert Williams Sr. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma in charge of arrangements.
