Nolan B. Plaisance, 77, a native and resident of Larose passed away January 1, 
2014. 

Visitation will take place from 9:30 am till funeral time Saturday January 4, 
2014 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Funeral Mass will 
begin at 11:00 am 

with burial following in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in 
Larose.

Mr. Nolan is survived by his wife of many years Neva E. Plaisance, children 
Rickey Plaisance and wife Rose, Dianell Reinhardt and husband, Edward, and 
Natria Plaisance, Step-son, Levy Bruce & wife, Suzanne; grandchildren, Michelle 
Comardelle, Jerald Plaisance and Kaci Plaisance; great grandchildren Kade 
Folse, Kole Triche, Ken Comardelle, and Lacie Collins, great great-grandchild 
Brilee Collins, brother Elton Plaisance, and sister Evelia Curole.

He was preceded in death by his second wife Nattie Bruce, parents Anaclet and 
Marie G. Plaisance, grandson Steven Comardelle Jr., brothers Forest Plaisance, 
Raymond Plaisance, and Ernest Plaisance Sr.

Mr. Plaisance loved spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren 
and great-great-grandchild, tending his garden and watching football; he also 
enjoyed teasing his son-in-law and daughter-in-law.
