Patricia "Pat" Rodrigue, 66, a native of Thibodaux, passed away Sunday, Jan. 
26, 2014, in Youngsville. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Friday at Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro. The Rosary will be 
recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. 
Friday at the chapel, 

with burial in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. 

The Rev. Joseph Breaux, pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice, 
will officiate at the services. 
Pallbearers will be Trent Rodrigue, Tait Rodrigue, Glenn Conner, Colby Pierce, 
Paul Abshire, and Eddie Robinson. 

She is survived by her significant other, Warren Baudoin, of Youngsville; son, 
Karl Miller and wife, Dawn, of Carencro; daughter, Kay Rogers, of Newberry, 
Fla.; grandchildren, Brock Miller, Kaitlin Miller, and Colby Pierce; brothers, 
Murphy Jean Rodrigue Jr. and wife, Adeline, of Houma, and Stewart Rodrigue and 
wife, Joy, of Thibodaux; sister, Arlene Benoit, of Thibodaux; two nieces; three 
nephews; and her extended family, Melinda Hebert and husband, Mark, Marcus 
Hebert, Vickie Conner and husband, Glenn, Dillon Conner and Morgan Conner. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy Rodrigue Sr. and the former 
Lena Chaisson; son-in-law, Jeff Rogers; brother, Michael Rodrigue; and brother-
in-law, Wayne Benoit. 

She had been a resident of Carencro since 1967. 
She was previously employed with Lafayette Parish School Board for the past 35 
years and particularly enjoyed working with children. 
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton.

 Melancon Funeral Home and Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro are 
in charge of arrangements.
