Visitation will be from 4PM until 9PM Monday, February 3, 2014, at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume from 9AM until funeral time Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11AM at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Shiela Durocher of Shreveport, and five sons: Wallace Roger, Jr. of Thibodaux; Robert "Robear" Roger and his wife Cathy of Broussard; Barry Roger of Porter, TX; Gregory "Greg" Roger of Thibodaux; and Gerard Roger and his wife Leah of Abbeville; one sister, Mabel Martinez of Thibodaux; nine grandchildren: James "Jimbo" Bodenheimer of Shreveport; Becky Beach and her husband Eric of Franklin, VA; Brett Roger and his wife Crystal; Matthew Roger; and Nathan Roger and his wife Amy all of Thibodaux; Lauren Cutrer and her husband Jeremy of Geismar; Robbie Roger of Broussard; and Luke and Jude Roger of Abbeville; nine great grandchildren: Ben, Hannah Grace, Andrew, Sherianne Elizabeth, Katherine, and John Mark Beach of Franklin, VA; Braden and Dreyton Roger of Thibodaux; and Kaitlyn Cutrer of Geismar. She is preceeded in death by her husband of 57 years, Wallace Roger, Sr., her parents Alfred Ordogne and Nora Toups Ordogne; three brothers Lawrence, Lester, and Clarence Ordogne; and three sisters: Enola Malbrough, Viola Naquin, and Lula Benoit. Beulah was born in 1927 at a small farmhouse in Thibodaux; she was the youngest of eight children. French was her first language and one that she spoke the remainder of her life, as needed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who proudly served as the matriarch - she considered her family as her proudest accomplishment. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of St. Geneviève Catholic Church. She was a great cook, good listener, good friend, and she never met a stranger. She was a determined woman with a kind and generous soul. Ma-Maw will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association. ======================
