LaTrice Sartain, 88, a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 
2013. 

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 
in Houma. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sharian Marcel and husband, Michael; brother, 
James Parnell and wife, Pat; sister, JoAnn Muir; and grandchildren, Michael J. 
Marcel Jr., John M. Marcel, Samuel J. Marcel, Donald L. Sartain Jr., 
Christopher J. Sartain, and Troy Sartain. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Sartain; father, Hilbert 
Parnell; mother, Lena Montandon; son, Earnest Paul Sartain; son, Donald L. 
Sartain Sr.; and brother, Louis Parnell. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements
