Matthew Connors Taofik, 24, a native of Kingsford, Mich., and resident of 
Houma, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014.

Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church in 
Houma.

He is survived by his parents, Eileen Connors-Taofik and Avad Taofik; and 
sister, Amanda Connors Sommerfeldt.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Adam Connors Taofik; and sisters, 
Amber Connors Taofik and RaeAnne Connors Taofik.
