Joanne Danos Toups, 73, a native of Grand Isle and resident of Galliano, died 
at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church in Galliano, 

with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. 

She is survived by her son, Jeff Toups Sr.; daughters, Anna Bernard and Mary T. 
Perez; brothers, Odson Danos Jr. and Danny Danos; sister, Kay Lasseigne; five 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Toups Sr.; parents, Odson Sr. 
and Frances Brunet Danos; and son, Jimmie Toups Jr. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
