Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church in New Orleans. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. He was son of the late Willie and Elenora Ward, of Houma; husband of Dorothy Daggs Ward; father of Ronald (Shelia), of Little Rock, Ark., Melvin (Gwen) Terrell and Raseen (Roxie) Ward, of Missouri City, Texas, Jeanette Clark, of Pearlington, Miss., Dianne Adams, Beatrice (Mac) Robinson, of Donaldsonville, Ollie (Adolph Sr.) Vincent, of Clovis, Calif., the Rev. Warren (the late, Yvonne), Aaron (Isabelle), Elton (Gail), Jessie and Kevin (Jackie) Jones and the late Tyrone Ward and Waymon Jones (living wife, Nadine); brother of Audrey (the late, Stanley) Alridge, of Houma, and the late Joseph and Freddie Ward; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army. D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements. ======================
