Flora "Flo" Ann McDanell Blanchard, 56, a former resident of Houma and current 
resident of West Monroe, LA, passed away on the early morning of Monday, 
February 17, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

A Memorial Visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, February 24th from 
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Thibodaux Funeral Home, 104 St. Patrick St, in Thibodaux, 
LA 70301. A Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 at the funeral home. The 
service will be officiated by Pastor Robert Eastwood.

She is survived by her loving sons, Preston Tyler Blanchard and Terry "Scott" 
Blanchard and wife Sara S. Blanchard; her mother, Theresa McDanell; brothers 
Aubrey "Frank" McDanell and Paul Westbrook and wife, Ping; sister Melinda Kiper 
and husband, Glenn; nieces and nephews, Monica Berry Stover and husband, 
Justin, Aubrey Travis Rombough and wife, Janelle, Amanda Marlene McDanell, 
Aubrey Michael McDanell, Jarred Matthew McDanell, Ethan Westbrook, Lauren 
Ashton Hughes, Emily Beyers and husband, Zack, and Kyle Westbrook; great nieces 
and nephews, Erin Rionna Stover, Mason Rombough, Serenity Michelle Sepulvado, 
Connor Rombough, and Ashton Elise Stover; and her two special dogs, Woofer and 
Sadie.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Terry James Blanchard; father 
Bobby Frank McDanell; and, brother Robert Leon McDanell.

Her family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Thibodaux 
Regional Medical Center for their loving care and compassion during her final 
hours.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to The American Cancer 
Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Thibodaux Funeral Home.
