Gertrude Chamberlain, 88, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 10 p.m. 
Monday, Feb. 17, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Thibodaux 
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. 

She is survived by her son, David Chamberlain Sr. and wife, Lorraine; 
daughters, Judy Percle and husband, Perry, and Karen C. Delatte and husband, 
Lloyd; grandchildren, David Jr,, Daryl, and Duane Chamberlain, Tammy P. 
Callais, Keith Percle, Monique Martin, Melanie Boudreaux, and Faith Albert; and 
great-grandchildren, Alexis, Seth, and Casey Chamberlain, Jacob and Austin 
Hebert, Kolby and Adeline Percle, and Ryan Jr., Mason, and Rhenin Martin. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Chamberlain; parents, Clarence 
and Orlie Benoit Himel; brothers, Hoffman, Simon, Raymond, and George Himel; 
and sisters, Virgie Perk, Doris Marse Trosclair, and Lois Boudreaux. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
