Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. with burial in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Chauvin. She is survived by her sons, Carol and James, and wife, Roberta Duplantis; daugther, Janice and husband, Odis LeCompte Sr.; brother, Eldon Chauvin; sisters, Rita LeBoeuf and Eta Falgoust; grandchildren, Donna Duplantis, Christie and husband, Bryan Charpentier, Mary Lynn and husband, Jeff Cedotal, Alice and husband, Timmy Authement, Blaise LeCompte and former wife, Cheri Boudreaux, Stacie and husband, Tommy Belisle, Lyle LeCompte and companion Eleanor, Kyle and wife, Gail LeCompte, Lisa LeCompte, Todd and wife, Jennie LeCompte, Wendy and husband, Bryan Bunn, Odie LeCompte Jr. and companion, Hope, Drew LeCompte and wife, Brandi, Larry Duplantis Jr., Dana and husband, Chuck Blake, Jamie Keith Chaisson, Rene' and husband, Bob Stykes, Becky and husband, Kerry Deroche, Francine and husband, Edmond Rachal, and Brad Duplantis and companion, Beth; 47 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilsey Duplantis; son, Larry Duplantis; brothers, Nolan, Anthony, Louis Jr., and Raymond Chauvin; sisters, Viley Domangue and Yvonne Authement; grandson, Kelly Duplantis; and two daughters-in-law, Patsy Smith Duplantis and Mary Ann Bourg Duplantis. She was a founding and charter member of the first board of the Chauvin Council on Aging, one of the Quilting ladies for Lagniappe Festival, member of St. Joseph's Ladies Altar Society, Catholic Daughters, and loved traveling and visiting her camp, and was truly a great mother and beloved mother-in-law.
