A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Living Word Church, Valhi Campus, located at 109 Valhi Blvd. in Houma. She is survived by her sons, Greg Eschette and wife, Linda Hoffpauir, Corey Eschette and wife, Melanie Topham, and Mark Eschette and fiancee, Sally Clement; former daughter-in-law, Rori Grabert Eschette; her 96-year-old mother, Lucille "Lucy" Lanclos Bertinot; sisters, Drucilla "Dru" Landry and Janelle "Jeanie" Martin; brothers, Eby Bertinot Jr., Berchman "Butch" Bertinot, and Nelson Bertinot; grandchildren, Patra, Kori Lynn, Deryan, Peyton, Ty, and Lanie; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Eby Bertinot Sr.; and brothers, Robert Bertinot, Jesse Bertinot Sr., and James Bertinot. She worked most of her life in the food service industry. She worked at the former A & P Grocery Store, Winn-Dixie and many years at Cannata's Food World.
