She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, February 28, 2014 from 8:00 AM until service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Fakier Pugh and husband Kris, her pride and joy granddaughter, Lyla Alexis Pugh, step granddaughter, Vivianna Pugh, mother, Meryl Richard Aycock and husband Mike, step mother, Philomena Blanchard, sisters, Donna Braud Breaux, Deirdre "Dee-Dee" Braud DeHart and husband Lance, Sally Ann Savoie and husband Eric, brother, David Michael Braud, step sisters, Dena Nettleton and Laura Aycock, godchild, Lacie Breaux LeBlanc, nieces, Mercedes Duplantis, Krista Votolato, Elizabeth Mitchell, nephews, Luke DeHart, Adam DeHart, John David Braud, and Eric Savoie, Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy "Larry" Braud, grandparents, Edward and Julia Braud, and Dolly and Edward Richard. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Debby loved gardening and her family. She had a loving and compassionate heart and will be missed by all. She enjoyed most of all spending time with her daughter and granddaughter ======================
