Leonard "Frank" Joseph Hotard, 76, a native and resident of Kraemer, died at 
6:38 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Lawrence the 
Martyr Catholic Church in Kraemer. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church cemetery in Kraemer. 

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Usea Hotard; sons, Ernest J. 
Hotard II and wife, Donna Thibodaux Hotard, Troy J. Hotard and wife, Marie 
Guidry Hotard, and Blaine J. Hotard; brothers, Lonie Hotard and wife, Kerry 
Hotard, and Ricky Hotard and wife, Cheryl Hotard; sisters, Jane Cortez and 
husband, Roger Cortez, Joan Larousse and husband, Tracy Larousse, Nora 
Thibodaux and husband, Ralph Thibodaux, Onieda Cortez and husband, Manuel 
Cortez, Carol Cortez and husband, Heddy Cortez, and Lucy Ann Hotard; 
grandchildren, Shandi Hotard Parks and husband, Jarrett Parks, and Natalie and 
Nicole Hotard; and great-grandchildren, Ayden Michael and Corbin John Parks. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Cecile Granier Hotard; and 
brother, Clarence J. Hotard. 

He was retired from Avondale Shipyard where he worked as a painter for 43 
Years. 

The family would like to thank his caregivers, Lindel Horn, Gale Andras, St. 
Joseph Hospice, Dr. Walter Simoneaux and staff, and James Ellis and staff of 
Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
