Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Charles Borromeo in Point-aux-chenes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Charles Borromeo in Point-aux-chenes. Burial will be in St. Charles Borromero Cemetery. Survived by Sons- Carter Levron and wife Betti and Brad Levron and wife Donna Son in law- Darell Gautreaux; Daughter- Sharon Griffin and husband Richard; Brother in law- Raymond Belanger; Sister- Nancy Hebert and husband James; Grandchildren; Toni Peltier and husband Lee, Amy LeCompte and husband Tracey, Tara Fromenthal and husband Mike, Cody Gautreaux, Brad Levron Jr., and Kimberly Levron; Step Grandchildren- Amy, Micheal, and Shane; Great Grandchildren- Seth Peltier, Trey LeCompte, Alexis Bergeron, and Hunter Fromenthal; Step Great Grandchildren- Allura, Alayna, Austin, and Destiny Preceded in death by his loving Wife of 61 years, Shirley Dupre Levron; Parents- Augustin Levron and Naise Dupre Levron; Son- Phil Levron Daughter- Darla Gautreaux; Sister- Vivian Levron Belanger He was employed with Texaco for 31 years as a tug boat captain on the Captain Benny. He served in U.S. Army. He was usher in St. Charles Borromeo Church. He was a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 272. He was a third degree Knight in St. Charles Borromeo Council 8616. He was a past member of the Montegut Children Carnival Club and Bonne Terre Carnival Club. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his Family and Friends.
