Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 8:30 am until time of funeral service at Thibodaux Family Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am at the church with burial to follow in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, David Mahler; daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Sandlin and husband Dwight; sons, Shelton Mahler and wife Sandra, Ricky Mahler and wife Sarah, Floyd Mahler and wife Tammy, Douglas Mahler and wife Cheryl; grandchildren William Ogburn, Shannon Knoblock, Angelle Mahler, Michelle Loupe, Scotty Mahler, Megan Mahler, Derek Porche, Alaina Brockmann, Allison Badgerow; great-grandchildren Sydney and Sophie Knoblock, Landen and Libby Loupe, Matthew Mahler, I'niah and Mariah Daigle, and John Badgerow, II; sister Hilda Rodrigue Adam. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambroise Rodrigue and Ida Rose Rodrigue. Nolia was a loving mother to all, even her extended family. Everyone could always count on her support and guidance throughout life. She will be greatly missed by all. With their friends, Nolia and her husband, David, enjoyed eating out and dancing. She and her husband worked together in the family business, Mahler's Meat Market for many years. She was once an employee of Thibodaux Regional Hospital. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Thibodaux Regional Hospital, S.T.A.T., St. Joseph Hospice, Family Doctors Clinic, Thibodaux Family Church, and the many caregivers who helped Nolia in her later years in life.
