Janell Bellard Pravata, 71, was born on May 8, 1942 and passed away on February 
5, 2014. She was a native of Church Point, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Thibodaux Funeral Home 
Chapel from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9:00 
AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will be held at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Philip Pravata; children, Shannon Pravata & 
Desiree Pravata Myers; brothers: James, Bernard, John, and Gregory Bellard; 
sister, Gussie Clement and grandchildren, Mark Cortes Pravata, Gabrielle 
Pravata, Cade Pravata, Chloe Myers, Ariel Pravata, Giovanni Pravata, and Layla 
Pravata.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Maydell Bellard and brother, 
Donald Bellard.

She was employed with Winn Dixie for 23 years.

Thibodaux Funeral Home INC. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
