Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1402.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Harley Ray Regan, 79, was born July 6, 1934, in Crowley and was a resident of Youngsville for most of his life, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Martin and Castille's Southside Funeral Home in Lafayette. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Deacon Keith Duhon officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.2 in Houma, with Deacon William Dunckelman officiating. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his loving wife, Myra Nugent Regan, of Youngsville; brother, Olan Regan, of Morse; mother-in- law, Rose Nugent, of Houma; daughters, Donna Regan Parker and husband, John, of Carrollton, Texas, Leslie Regan (John) Dunckelman, of Cape Coral, Fla., Jeanette Regan (James) Peel, of Benecia, Calif., and Amanda Trubiano (David) Hastings, of Havre de Grace, Md.; four granddaughters; one grandson; two great- grandchildren; and in-laws, Fay Briley and husband, Todd, of Houma, Clyde Nugent and wife, Melissa, of Ventura, Calif., William Nugent and wife, Diane, of Flower Mound, Texas, and Dwight Brininger, of Cape Coral, Fla. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Gear Regan, of Houma; parents, Curley and Inez Regan, of Crowley; and father-in-law, Robert O. Nugent, of Houma. Harley was a 1952 graduate of Crowley High School before entering the U.S. Navy where he served in the Korean Conflict. Upon his discharge from the Navy, he attended USL, graduating in 1960. The family extends special thanks to his caregiver, Donna Leger. Martin and Castille Southside Funeral Home in Lafayette is in charge of arrangements. ======================
