He was the beloved husband of 44 years to Paula Porche RichŽ. Loving father of Todd M. RichŽ. Wayne was born to the late Bernice and Claude RichŽ on 13 April 1948, in Thibodaux, LA. He was graduated from Thibodaux Central Catholic (aka Thibodaux College) in 1966 and received a BA in 1969 and MBA in 1970, both from Nicholls State University. He is survived by his siblings Sylvia RichŽ Naquin, CJ RichŽ, Tim RichŽ, and James RichŽ. He is also survived and fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law Katie Witry, granddaughter Lucy Cate RichŽ, an expected second grandchild - along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A longtime resident of Houma, LA, Wayne enjoyed a long career with music, real estate, mortgage lending and notary work. Away from work, he especially enjoyed time spent fishing, cooking & travelling with his close friends and family, art work and purple martins. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father and a trusted friend to many. ÔHis passion for life will be deeply missed by us all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 Louisiana Highway 311 in Houma on Wednesday 12 February from 6-8PM. Visitation will follow on Thursday 13 February beginning at 9AM at Maria Immacolata Church with a Memorial Mass beginning at 11AM. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery II. The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Terrebonne Foundation for Academic Excellence or a charity of choice. People are encouraged to become organ donors to help future patients in need. ======================
