Willie Scott, Sr., 89. a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, 
died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 1:10 p.m.

Visitation will be from 9:00 until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 
February 22, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home of Houma. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by: one son, Willie Scott, Jr.; three daughters, Beverly 
(Hanson) Young, Gloria Harris, and Janie Marie Solomon; three sisters, 
Genevieve Quinn, Delores Lewis, and Bunnie Randolph; five brothers, James, 
Albert, Lionel, Richard, and Clyde Scott; thirteen grandchildren and one great 
grandchild.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Lula Mae Amos Scott; one daughter, 
Brenda J. Scott; his parents, Willis and Lucy Turner Scott; one sister, Girley 
Jackson; four brothers, Herbert, Joseph, Earl and Robert Scott; and a 
grandchild, Sheriff Deputy Milton S. Theriot.
