SMITH, LLOYD D., JR. 

Lloyd D. Smith Jr., 53, a resident of Franklin died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at 
11:45 a.m. 

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until funeral time at 3 p.m. Saturday at the 
Crossing Place Fellowship, 1096 Northwest Blvd., in Franklin. 

He is survived by his wife, Karen Salone Smith, of Franklin; children, TaKisha 
Welch, of Franklin, Jeohn Salone Favors, of Washington, D.C., and India Smith, 
of Lafayette; two sisters, Windy (Ronald) Boseman, of Franklin and Carolina 
(Gordon) Wilson, of Madison, Wisc.; one brother, Desmond Connor Sr., of Ville 
Platte; one grandchild, Goddess Baldwin, of Franklin; and a host of uncles, 
aunts, cousins, godchildren, other relatives, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, in-laws, and godmother. 

Jones Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
