She was a native of Theriot, LA and resident of Theriot, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 8:30am to 11:00am at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Burial: St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her Sons: Gordon Michael Voisin and wife Erika Leigh Boquet Voisin of Bourg LA, Jay Anthony Voisin and wife Candice Rizzo Voisin of Houma LA, Daughter: Lorena Voisin Grant and husband Kevin Joseph Grant of Theriot LA, Parents: Wilbert "Buddy" Champagne and Claire Rose Voisin Champagne of Theriot LA, Brother: Gregory William Champagne of Theriot LA, Sisters: Taryn Champagne Mader and husband Randy Mader of Theriot LA, Katrina Champagne of Theriot LA, Leslie Champagne Griffin and husband Jimmy Griffin of Matthews LA, and Grandchildren: Riley, Marla and Carmen Voisin, Liam and Harper Voisin, Michael and Nathaniel Grant. She was preceded in death by her Grandchildren: Gabriel, Peter, and Christopher Grant. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. Aleta had a passion for cooking and trying new recipes. She studied art and also enjoyed painting, needlework, reading, and gardening. Aleta was a devoted Catholic who faithfully prayed The Rosary. She was a founding member and the first Consecrated Bride of Brides of the Most Blessed Trinity, an Apostolate that prays and offers sacrifice for priests and vocations to the priesthood. Twenty seven years ago, in 1987, she gave herself to God as a Martyr for priests. The family would like to send their warm thank you for all the prayers and kindness given through her illness. ======================
