Eula Mae Braquet Champagne, 78, died Monday, March 3, 2014, due to 
complications from congestive heart failure. 

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at God's House of Praise at 4934 
Bayouside Drive in Chauvin. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the 
church. 

She was born Dec. 5, 1935, in Loreauville. She married her husband, Jessie John 
Champagne and lived in St. Martinville. 
After her husband's death in 2007, she was unable to live alone and was being 
cared for by her daughter, Jeannie Martin, of Chauvin, for more than six years. 

Eula Mae was a dedicated wife and mother who made sacrifices throughout her 
life so her husband and children could have the things they needed. 

She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, and other family and friends 
who knew and loved her.
