Richard P. "Dick" Guidry, 84, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away 
March 26, 2014.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 30,at Falgout Funeral Homes in 
Galliano from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and on Monday, March 31, at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Galliano from 8:30 am till service time. Funeral Mass will 
begin at 11:00 am Monday 

with burial following in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Galliano.

Mr. Richard is survived by his wife of 62 years Phyllis G. Guidry, his children 
Dennis Guidry and wife Carol, David Guidry and wife Mary, Phyllis "Fe Fe" 
Guidry, Lillie Ledet and husband Tad and Lisa Guidry Rogers, grandchildren 
Ralin G. Trosclair and husband Rusty, Paul M. Guidry, Christina G. Hubbell, 
Samantha Lagarde and husband Chris, Hannah Lasseigne and husband Brad, Holden 
Ledet and wife Brittney and Justin Rogers, 9 great grandchildren with another 
on the way, brother Robert Guidry, sister Rosie G. Harris and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John L. Guidry and Lillian L. Guidry, 
son R. Paul Guidry, and brother Lloyd Guidry.

Mr. Guidry was a State Representative for 16 years and has too many 
accomplishments to list from his service to his community. 

In lieu of flowers the family request donation to the American Cancer Society 
or Relay for Life in Mr. Richard's name.
