Theresa Hadley, 86, a native of New Orleans and resident of Raceland, died 
Tuesday, March 4, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at First 
Corinthian Baptist Church in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Morristown. 

She is survived by her sons, Karl (Patricia) Hadley, Kalvin (Diane) Hadley and 
Kenneth Hadley; daughter, Patricia W. Hadley; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent Hadley Sr.; parents, James and 
Florence Holmes; sons, Nolan Williams Hadley and Kent Hadley Jr.; brothers, 
Herman Holmes and James Holmes Sr.; and sisters, Evelyn Johnson, Myrtle Marion 
Douglas and Audrey Vallain. 

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
