Terry Edward Hotard, 61, a native of Paradis and resident of Gheens, died 
Friday, March 21, 2014. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, April Cortez Hotard; daughter, Jessica 
Hotard; brothers, Fallan Hotard Sr. and Wave Hotard; sisters, Gail Nicholas and 
Brenda Simonson; grandchildren, Hiedi Bourgeois and husband, Ben, and Madison 
and Kody Burnum; and great-grandchild, Lee Ann Bourgeois. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Enola Domingue Hotard; 
brothers, Westley, Wages, Bobbey, Emile, and Roger Hotard; and sisters, 
Adrellia Curole, Mary Jean Badeaux, and Tina Lamb. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with 
funeral expenses. 

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
