He was a native of Bayou Dularge, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 8:00 AM until service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 He is survived by his, daughter, Carmalite "Tutty" LaCoste Chandler and husband James, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Gina Bergeron and partner Alisa Domingue, Allen Bergeron and wife Janie, Shanna Authement and husband Kent, great grandchildren, Travis, Nicole, Amanda, Jessica, Allen, Jr., Kasey, Bryan and Karah great great grandchildren, Kiara, TA'rie, Bryson, Taylah, Marcus, Conor J. and Johnny Wayne, foster sister, Juanita. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Vivian Voisin Lacoste, parents, Manuel Lacoste and Josephine Aucoin LaCoste, sisters, Grazilla Rink, Roseilia Theriot, foster bother, Paul Lacoste. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was a self-employed Building Contractor. Allen was a honorary member and 4th Degree Knight of the K.C. Council 7355. He was also a member of Woodmen of the World, International Order of Alhambra- Tarragona Caravan #245 and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was a 50 year attendant at Manresa. He was a member of the Usher Society. He was always advocating for various charitable organizations. He was an avid gardener and loved spending time with his friends and family ======================
