THELMA DUPLANTIS PARKER died Sunday March 9, 2014.  She was 81, a native of 
Napoleonville, LA and resident of Houma, LA.  

Visiting at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, from 2:00pm to 
4:00pm Thursday, March 13, 2014.  Visiting at New Zion Baptist Church, 263 
Grand Calliou Road, Houma, LA on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 9:00am to 
Religious Services at 11:00am conducted by Rev. Hayward Sims, Jr.  

Burial in Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery in Napoleonville, LA.  

Survived by 4 sons and spouses, Edward and Gertrude, Alvin and Regina, Spencer 
and Pamela, and Rodney and Enell Parker; 4 daughters and spouses, Pauline 
Juanita Parker, Kathleen and Stacey Jones, Sheryl and Carl Richardson, and 
Jacquelyn and Gary Williams, Sr.; 1 sister, Sarah Bergeron; 1 brother, Edward 
Duplantis; 34 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 2 great, great, 
grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Preceded in death by her husband, Willard Edwin Parker; Parents, Juanita and 
Willie Duplantis, Jr.; 3 brothers, Everett, Wilton and James Duplantis, and a 
sister, Eula Mae Guilfo.
