No funeral services are scheduled at this time. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry Perry; sister, Becky Adair; nephew, Greg Gleason and wife, Penny; niece, Angela Fontenot and husband, Joey; four great-nieces; one great-great-nephew; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her son David D'Wayne Perry, who passed away in 2004; and her parents, James and Ruby Adair, all of whom she joins in eternal rest. Mona, who was known as "Monie" to her friends and "Puddin" to her family in her younger years, was born in Shreveport March 15, 1939, and grew up on a cotton farm in Bossier Parish. She graduated from Bossier High School in 1958 and completed a commercial art course at the Butler Institute in Shreveport. Although she never was employed in the field of art, she used her talent throughout her life by painting for friends and family. She was a resident of Terrebonne Parish for 47 years and worked for the Water District and John Broussard as a receptionist. She was a lifetime member of The Little People of America and had many friends throughout the United States who she met through this organization. She was a kind and generous soul and the world has lost a bright, shining star. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to: The Little People of America National Head Quarters, 250 El Camino Real No. 211, Tustin, CA 92780. ======================
