Steve Michel Porche, 43, a native of Houma and resident of Florien, died 
Tuesday, March 25, 2014. 

A memorial service will be from 6 to 9 p.m, with the memorial reading beginning 
at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Unity Lodge Building at 1029 Bayou Black 
Drive in Houma. 

He is survived by his parents, Richard P. and Martha Bergeron Porche; sister 
and brother-in-law, Melissa and Don "Dink" Dumont; his beloved kitty, Jackson; 
and many family members and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert P. and Marion G. Porche, 
and Reubin Sr. and Lois L. Bergeron. 

Steve recently moved to and loved living in the quiet village of Florien. He 
enjoyed landscaping, working in the garden, and sitting by the peaceful creek. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. 

Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many is in charge of arrangements.
