Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1403.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Dudley Peter Robichaux, 66, a resident of Lafayette, passed away at 10:51 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Delhomme Funeral Home at 1011 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at 1 p.m. Monday with U.S. Navy military honors at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. The Rev. Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will officiate. Pallbearers will be: David Courville, Jason Wolfe, Larry Darbonne II, Brandon Bourg, Kevin Hebert, and Justin Bourg. Honorary pallbearers will be Camden Wolfe and Larry Darbonne III. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Norma Boudreaux Robichaux; mother, Winnie Naquin Robichaux; daughters, Abigail R. Courville and husband, David, Anne R. Wolfe and husband, Jason, and Sarah R. Darbonne and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Stephanie, Camden, Erika, Cora, Morgan, Casey, and L.J.; sisters, Susan R. Brown and husband, Bruce Jr., Julie R. Hebert and husband, Danny, and Cynthia R. Bourg and husband, Tim; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Junius Pierre Robichaux. Dudley was a 1965 graduate of Terrebonne High School. After graduating from high school, he entered the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Manley DD-940. After a 40-year career of working, he retired and spent the last six years enjoying life with his family. Delhomme Funeral Home in Lafayette is in charge of arrangements. ======================
