Visitation will take place at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Thursday March 6th from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and on Friday march 7th from 8:00 am till 10:30 am. On Friday Military Honors will be held at 9:30am in the funeral parlor with a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church beginning at 11:00 am with burial following in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Elvida "Lou" Esponge Rogers, son Joey Rogers and wife Robin Lasseigne Rogers, daughter Elizabeth Rogers Dufrene Diaz and husband Joe Diaz, daughter Rebecca "Becky" Rogers Danos and husband Cory Danos, son Michael Rogers and wife Lynn Lorraine Rogers, grandchildren Madonna Dufrene, Jamie Rogers Kiger and husband Joshua Kiger, Chelsie Dufrene Orgeron and husband Andi Orgeron, Jazz Dufrene, Meagan Rogers Wunstell and husband Zedd Wunstell, Kayla Danos and fiancˇ Chaz Terrebonne, Anthony Rogers and wife Addie Alario Rogers, and Trittany Rogers, great-grandchildren Alexandria Kiff, Blayne Kiff ,Edward Dufrene IV, Karalyne Dufrene, Kimmie Orgeron, Paysen Terrebonne, and Chandler Wunstell. He was preceded in death by his parents Anidas Roger and Victoria Fonseca Rogers LeBlanc and step father Charlie LeBlanc, siblings Gillis Rogers, Myrtle Pitre, Pearl Dufrene and Odille Trosclair, and son-in-law Kim Dufrene. Mr. Early was a veteran of the Korean War. His interests were gardening, bowling, as he was the only person to bowl a perfect game at Bayou Country Lanes, fishing sports, and bingo. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts at this time, and would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and staff of Lady of the Sea General Hospital, Dr. Jay Vega, doctors and staff of Tulane and Veterans Hospital, South Louisiana Hospice, and Sacred Heart Church.
