Myron Paul Rousse "The Popcorn Man", 62, a native and resident of Galliano, LA 
passed away March 28, 2014. 

Visitation will take place on Monday, March 31, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in 
Cut Off from 5pm till 9pm and on Tuesday, April 1st, at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church in Galliano from 8:30am till service time. Military Honors will take 
place at 9:30am Tuesday with Funeral Mass beginning at 11am 

with cremation following with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at a later 
date.

Mr. Myron is survived by his wife of 39 years Trudy Norman Rousse, sons Mark 
Rousse and wife Katie and Myles Rousse, grandchildren Xavier Ledezma, Layla 
Rousse, Max Rousse, Kenzie Rousse, and another on the way, mother Rose 
Thibodaux Rousse, brother Ted Rousse and wife Celena, and sister Meryl Duet and 
husband Bob.

He was preceded in death by his father Menton Paul Rousse.

Mr. Rousse was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the United 
Veterans League, the American Legion, and the Lafourche Parish Fire District 3 
Engineer.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking for family and friends, 
people and life.
