Joyce Crochet Schexneyder, 70, a resident of Terrebonne Parish, passed away 
Tuesday, March 11, 2014, after a courageous battle with a brain tumor. 

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Victory of Houma 
Church. 

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Berlin, Laura Lawrence, Lana Lawrence 
and Lila Moss; grandchildren, Brian Berlin, Trinity Lawrence, Juliun Lawrence, 
Michael Moss II, Victoria Bourgeois, McKenna Williams and Mallory Allen; great-
grandchildren, Connor Berlin and Aiden Navarre; mother, Lillian Pitre; and 
sister, Judy Beeson and husband, Tommy Beeson. 

She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Joe Lawrence; and father, Russell 
Schexneyder. 

Joyce was a lady of great faith and dearly loved her Lord. 
She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, who treasured 
spending time with her family. 
Life was an adventure for Joyce, and she had the unique ability to make all who 
crossed her path feel special. 
She will be sorely missed by all. 

The family would like to thank St. Joseph's Hospice (T, Grace, Melissa and 
Tommy) and her caregivers, Mark Goudy, Taisha Jones and Linda Martin, for the 
loving care they provided. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude 
Children's Hospital.
