Bobby Jean Shephard, 59, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, 
died Friday, March 21, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at New Mount 
Pilgrim Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery. 

She is survived by her companion, Willie Edward Nells, of Houma; brothers, 
Lionel (Beverly), Stanford, Calvin, Warren (Mary), and Tommy Shephard, of 
Houma, and Craig Shephard, of Oklahoma; and sisters, Brenda S. (Edward) Branch, 
Linda S. Theriot, Patricia Shephard, and Merlene Shephard, of Houma. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha J. Shephard Sr. and Hester M. 
Jackson Shephard; daughter, Sandra Shephard; brothers, Elisha J. Jr., Ronnie 
Sr., Mervin, Michael D., and Claudell Shephard; sisters, Shirley S. Livas, 
Kathy S. Davis, and Lisa Shephard; and grandparents, Nathaniel and Amy Harris 
Jackson. 

Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
