Larry J. Usea, 55, a native of Kraemer, LA and resident of Choupic, LA passed 
away on March 5, 2014.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 7:30 AM till funeral time at 
Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church (Chackbay, LA). A Mass of Christian 
Burial will take place at 10:30 AM at the church. 

Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Julia Adams Usea; daughter, Holly Usea 
Bergeron and husband Bobby; parents, Larry Usea and Beulah Cortez Usea; 
brother, Kelly Usea; sisters, Lenora Usea Cortez and husband Murphy, Rhonda 
Usea; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Templet Cortez; mother-in-law, Rose Adams; 
brother-in-laws, Larry Adams and wife Dorothy, Mark Adams and wife Georgia, and 
Randy Adams and wife Michelle; sister-in-law, Liz Nuccio and companion Barry; 
grandchildren, Boston and Sawyer Bergeron; numerous nieces and nephews; great 
nieces and a great nephew.

Preceded in death by his sister, Roberta Usea Tabor; maternal grandfather, 
Moise Cortez; paternal grandparents, Wilson and Claylee Kraemer Usea; father-
in-law, Julius Adams.

He was employed by Brock Enterprises for 27 years. He enjoyed cooking in his 
"shop" for family and friends and having everyone over to eat. 
In his spare time he loved to ride in his boat in the bayous and lakes.

Thibodaux Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
