Hubert Cornell Vincent, 59, a native and resident of Chauvin, LA, died 
Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 6:50 a.m.

Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 
11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by: his companion, Elsie Alridge; one son, Shane Scott; two 
daughters, Sha'Tina R. Alridge and Sha'Reka S. Alridge; six sisters, Betty Jean 
Vincent, Rita Mae Vincent-Smith, Mary "Chubby" Vincent, Bertha Vincent, Joyce 
Vincent, and Antoinette Vincent; one brother, Philbert Vincent; and four 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Martha Vincent; his father, Hayward 
Clay; and two brothers, Jerald and Herbert Vincent.

Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
