A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at Thibodaux Funeral Home in the chapel from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday April 16, 2014 the visitation will continue at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux, LA from 8:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA. She is survived by her loving children; Allen J. Benoit and wife Helen, Brad J. Benoit, Roland J. Benoit and wife Joyce, Nancy Benoit Knight and husband Gerard, and Harold R. Benoit; one sister, Mable R. Thibodaux;20 grandchildren; Douglas, Daryl, Aaron, Faith, Chad, Cliff, Jonathan, Hope, Jared, Angie, Michael, Cathy, Brandon, Cody, Kerri Lynn, Brady, Shelli, and Abbey; 28 great- grandchildren; Farron, Bianca, Dillon, Allana, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Danielle, Christie, Sarah, Victoria, Logan, Parker, Brennon, Courtney, Callie, Hannah, Carlyn, Gracie, Ryder, Holden, Ella, Riley, Allison, Chloe, Hunter, Easton, and Camden; and 3 great-great grandchildren; Jayden, Chaz, and Ryland. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Joseph Benoit; parents, John and Melodia Ordoyne Rozine; brothers, Roland , Johnny, and Oleus Rozine; sisters, Elizabeth R. Oncale and Rose R. Boudreaux; Daughter in Law, Patty F. Benoit; and grandson Kevin P. Benoit. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, working in the garden, and cooking. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother and great friend. Special thanks to the nursing staff and doctors in the Neuro-critical Care and Vascular Neurology Department at Ochsners Foundation Hospital for all the excellent care given to our mother. ======================
