Doris Lathrop Bouzigard, 96 a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away 
on Sunday April 20, 2014.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Tuesday 
April 22, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. 

with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Ivy Bouzigard, Jr. and wife Lorranie, Brad 
Bouzigard and wife Wendy; daughter, Juliette B. Louviere and husband Gerald; 
brother, Morrison Lathrop; grandchildren, Kelly Bouzigard, Susan Guidry, Errol 
"Pete" Pitre,. Jr., Julie Pitre, Angela Pitre, Tim Pitre, Grant Louviere, 
Shelly Louviere, Bruks Bouzigard, Brandy B. Gunn, Megan Bouzigard, Dean 
Bouzigard; great grandchildren, Chord Bouzigard, Ian Bouzigard, Michael Guidry, 
Logan Guidry, Shannon R. Thomas, Derrick Rigaud, Kenny Lopinto, Jacob 
Chighizola, Collette Pitre, Eric Pitre, Julia Pitre, Victoria Louviere, Tyler 
Blanchard, Jarrius Blanchard, Sarah Boudreaux, Evan Aucoin, Adrianne Legnon; 
great great grandchildren, Kaleb Thomas, Koen Thomas, Kobe Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Bouzigard, Sr.; father, Woodford 
Lathrop, Sr.; mother, Leoncia Coron Lathrop; daughter, Judith B. Pitre; 
brothers, Woodford Lathrop, Jr., Davidson Lathrop, Bradford Lathrop, Lorris 
Lathrop; sisters, Leonore L. Pitre, Nora L. Anselmi, Carrie L. Cheramie, Onise 
L. Galliano, Dorothy L. Sacco, Georgina L. Gaspard; grandson, Dean Pitre; great 
grandson, Justin Boudreaux.

Special thanks to her caregivers, Gloria B. Cheramie, Larry Chiasson, Journey 
Hospice and to her long time doctor, Dr. Eddie Smith.
