Bruce Sr., 59, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014. Visitation was from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Johanna W. Bruce; father, Ivy P. Bruce Sr.; son, Adam J. Bruce Jr.; stepson, Keith M. Guidry; daughters, Melissa B. Lee, Kelsey Bruce and Brandy B. Gryder; stepdaughter, Amy G. Navarre; brother, Ivy P. Bruce Jr.; sisters, Vivian Duet and Gilda Badeaux; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosebud R. Bruce; brother, Baby Boy Bruce; and sister, Monalisa Ann Bruce. He enjoyed playing cards and loved being on the water. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements. ======================
