LARRY DORSEY, SR. a retired employee of Gibbs-Cook Equiptment Company in Des 
Moines, Iowa and a W.W.II Veteran of the United States Army, died Sunday April 
13, 2014 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Houma, LA.  
He was 94, a native and resident of Napoleonville, LA.  

Visiting at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church in Bertrandville, LA from 
9:00am to Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am Thursday, April 24, 2014 
conducted by Rev. Joseph Rodney.  

Burial in St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church cemetery.  

Survived by 2 sons and spouses, Larry, Jr. and Marilyn Dorsey of Des Moines, 
IA, and Edward, Sr. and Sylvia Dorsey of Omaha, NB.; Also 6 grandchildren, 6 
great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 1 brother-in-law, Thomas 
Castine of IA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Preceded in death by his wife, Eliza M. Dorsey; 1 son, Ronald Dorsey; 1 
daughter, Jacqueline Dorsey; A stepson, Lloyd Richard; Parents, Maseline and 
Joseph Dorsey; a brother, J. W.  Monroe.
