Barbara Tschanz Dover, 72, died Monday, April 21, 2014 at 02:40PM. She was a 
native of Winnfield, IL , and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 9:00am to 1:00pm 
at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1:00pm at Chauvin 
Funeral Home, Inc.

Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2

She is survived by her sons, Robert E. Phillips and partner Cathy Evans, Terry 
M. Dover and wife Beth, Tommy J. Dover and wife Terry, Daughters, Tammy Guidry 
and husband Samson Guidry Jr, Jeanne M. Dover and partner Anita Tassin, 
Sisters: Cora Hines, Grandchildren:13 Great Grandchildren:3

She was preceded in death by her spouse: Merlin Anthony Dover; Parents: Rudolph 
and Geneva Gregerson Tschanz; Sister: Adelia Simonelig.
 

She enjoyed playing at the casino and traveling. She will be dearly missed by 
her family and friends.

In lieau of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
