He was a native of Monahans, TX and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Entombment St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Dianne Marie McManus Dyson, Daughters, Kristin Dyson Bonner and husband Kimbal, Karin Dyson Thomisee and husband Derick, Son, Ricky Dale Dyson and wife Theresa, Grandchildren, Dalton, Hannah, Hunter, Alex, Cali, Tyler, Brody and Nicholas, Siblings, James Dyson, Brenda Powell, Sandra Marien and Tommy Dyson. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Dyson Jr and Billie Louise Gladden Dyson. He dedicated 34 years to Law Enforcement which included Northwestern State University, Natchitoches Police Department, and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office. He was a dedicated Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Mason. His Masonic service covered 11 years in which he was involved in the Terrebonne Fellowship Lodge #481 as Past Master / Secretary, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shrine, Grotto, and Knight Templar. He was loved by many and be dearly missed by many more. We love you Ronny!
