Eddie J. Pitre, 86, a native of Cut Off and resident of Terrytown, died Sunday, 
April 13, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, 

with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his son, Elrod J. Pitre; daughter, Lisa Pitre Guevara; 
brother, Edward Pitre; sister, Hazel P. Redmond; three grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Gros Pitre; parents, Mark Pitre and 
Judith Lefort Pitre; son, Robert John Pitre; daughter, Elaine Mary Pitre; 
brothers, Clarence and Mark Pitre; and sister, Edith Pitre Pitre. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
