Rink, 79, a native and resident of Choctaw, died Saturday, April 19, 2014. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at the Choctaw Volunteer Fire Department in Choctaw. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. James Chapel in Choctaw with burial in St. James Cemetery in Choctaw. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rosemary Tabor Rink; sons, Edward Rink and wife, Emelda, Glynn Rink, Richard Rink, Billy Rink and wife, Kim, Ted Rink and wife, Wendy, and Craig Rink and wife, Tanya; sister, Anna Rink Benoit; and grandchildren, Lenore, Renee, Evelyn, Keisha, Macy, Tyler, Abby, Cody, Brodie, and Ella. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Rink and Azelie Hebert Rink; and brothers, Norbert Sr., James, Adley, Robert, and Harry Rink. Charles was retired from McDermott. He loved gardening, working on lawn mowers, building rockers, and swings. The family would like to give special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, Dr. James Soignet, Dr. David Patten, Dr. Paul Monier, and Dr. Chester Weimer. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
