SONIER, URANIE 
      April 15, 2014

Uranie Lena Hidalgo Sonier, 97, was born on July 22, 1916 and passed away on 
April 15, 2014. 
She was a native of Labadieville, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 8:30 AM until funeral 
time at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 
11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in St. Bridget Cemetery in Schriever, LA.

She is survived by her sons, Lynn and Nelson Sonier Jr.; brother, Joseph 
Hidalgo; 5 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her spouse, Nelson P. Sonier ; mother and father, 
Paul and Estelle Hidalgo; son, Clay Paul Sonier; siblings, Alcide Hidalgo, 
Medora Himel, Agatha Martinez, Alcee Hidalgo, Hypolite Hidalgo, Paul Hidalgo, 
Estella Boudreaux, Rita Bilello, Marie Levie Hidalgo, Joseph Hidalgo, and Marie 
Hidalgo.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, INC. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
