Zerangue for almost 70 years, was granted her eternal peace by God Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Final goodbyes will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church cemetery in Raceland. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Chad Zerangue, Mark Zerangue, Mike Ardion, and Darron Mullins. She is survived by her children, Michael (Vickie) Zerangue, Jeffery (Phyllis) Zerangue, and Janet "Pixie" (David) Zerangue Reno; siblings, Clayton (Leota) Folse, "Pott" (Earline) Folse, Leonelle "Nan" (Wilbert) Melancon, and Zefa (Thomas) Penisson; grandchildren, Marion Charmain "Charlie" Zerangue (Darron) Mullins, Michael Chad (Renee) Zerangue; Stacey Zerangue Labat, Mark Zerangue, and Andrea "Andy" Reno (Mike) Ardion; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was the beloved daughter of the late Emile and Serillia Bourgeois Folse. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Antoine Zerangue; brothers, Harold (Adriel), Reed (Sylvia), and Hodges Folse Sr. Helen graduated from Raceland High School in 1944. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling and food. The Zerangue family is grateful to Gonzales Healthcare Center and Hospice of Baton Rouge for the care given to Helen. Church Funeral Services in St. Amant is in charge of arrangements. ======================
