Carl James Bergeron Sr., 54, a native of New Orleans and resident of Chauvin, 
died Saturday, May 24, 2014. 

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Extra Mile Ministry in 
Chauvin. 

He is survived by his mother, Earline Bergeron; sons, Carl Bergeron II and 
Katherine, Sky Earl Bergeron, and Alexander Gene Bergeron; daughters, Loreli 
Bergeron and Rose Bergeron; brothers, Ulysses Bergeron and wife, Ernestine, 
Donald Bergeron, and Ronald Bergeron and wife, Jennifer; sister, Karen Riche 
and husband, Yancy, Deborah Foster and husband, Charlie, and Jodi Picou and 
husband, Danny; and 12 grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kerry Bergeron; and father, Stanley J. 
Bergeron Jr. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
