She was a native of Bourg, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 8:30AM until service time at St. Ann Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00AM at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Robert Bascle, Terry Bascle and wife Diane; daughters, Sandra Brister and husband David, Evelyn Angeron and husband Byron; brothers, Reynold Robichaux, Steve Robichaux; sister, Ezoline Bourg; grandchildren, Dawn Hornsby, Becki Poole, Nicole Cornish, Jacob Bascle, Kim Thibodaux, Kyra Collen, Catherine Bascle, Jessica Brister; great grandchildren, Rebecca Brister-King, Marissa Hornsby, Landyn Thibodaux, Claire Cornish, Rori Poole, Haidyn Thibodaux, Xander Bascle. Stepchildren, Shayne Bergeron, Deborah Sallee, Denita Abel, Clifton Lucas And numerous step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Joseph and Lucille Blanchard Robichaux; husband, Bobby Bascle; second husband, Gerald Bergeron; son, Wayne Bascle; grandson, Bobby Angeron; brother, Edward (Sonny) Robichaux; sister, Ella Mae Tabor; daughter in law, Barbara Kelter Bascle. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Helen was a fun loving person who was also a very devout Catholic. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was the secretary at Terrebonne Vo-Tech High School for 28 years and worked as a teachers assistant for Grace Lutheran's Early Childhood Center. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Helen's dear friend, Linton (Tickie) Melancon, Dr. Russell Henry, and the caregivers at TGMC. ======================
